Wanga was taken to Nambaale Road, Busia, and that is where his sister last saw him.

A few days after his capture, the family received a ransom demand of KSh 400,000, but after paying the money, communication with the alleged captors was cut off.

The family sold land, livestock, and motorcycles to collect the ransom, but Wanga was not released, and the captors stopped calling.

Despite the family's efforts to find him, including false information about his location in Alupe, the police investigation did not yield any results.

The phone numbers used by the kidnappers were traced back to the dead people, further complicating the case.

Wanga's wife, Lilian Nekesa, is now facing the difficult task of raising their two daughters alone.

“Although the family has buried the banana, the questions are still swirling: Who kidnapped my husband?” he asked, still hoping to get answers.

His greatest desire is to know the reason for his capture and where his body is if he was killed.
