- Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro claimed that the videos showing him defending the Deputy President were recorded four years ago
- According to Nyoro, the statements linking him to the plot to remove DP Rigathi Gachagua are false
- Some reports had emerged claiming that Nyoro opposed the plan to remove the former Member of Parliament for Mathira
Nairobi – Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has distanced herself from a series of messages that claim she supported Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
On Tuesday, September 24, Nyoro responded to the video and messages that were circulated linking him to allegations of opposing the plot to remove Gachagua from leadership.
Most of the videos that were going viral were collected in 2022. At that time, Deputy President William Ruto was in conflict with Uhuru Kenyatta.
“Vice President, you are a perfect man. I wish to be like you. All criminals Nairobi they plot against you, but you hold fast,” Nyoro was quoted as saying.

However, Nyoro has denied any statements linking him to the ongoing debate about removing Gachagua in power.
Without giving his position on the matter, Nyoro said that the statement that he opposed the plot to remove Gachagua was propaganda.
“Beware of fake news: We have been seeing fake news on social media based on a video posted last week that is from four years ago trying to misrepresent the information. All of them are fake. Thank you. We are Africans, and Africa is our Business,” said Nyoro.
When will Gachagua be removed from power?
Meanwhile, Murang'a Women's Representative Betty Maina announced that Gachagua's term in office is about to end.
In a strong speech, Maina claimed that Gachagua's political fate was over, hinting at imminent pressure to remove him from power.
The courageous politician referred to the cryptic message of the Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi about the fate of Gachagua.
Maina did not hesitate to criticize the Deputy President for what he called arrogance and boasting in front of Ruto.
