“He was the only student in his department working back-to-back 36-hour shifts with his toxic boss on his neck,” he explained.

TUKO.co.ke contacted Hussein, who revealed that he was aware of Moraa's challenges at work.

According to him, the deceased was the only student in his department and was burdened by long shifts.

“Furthermore, he was not being paid. I don't think the government wants to pay medical workers any time soon,” he said.

The doctor also disclosed that the deceased had unpaid bills despite reporting to work and providing his services.

“The rent is pending, the bills are pending, they can't pay. He's been working for months, and people are expecting a big delivery. He was a brilliant doctor, having been in medical school for 10 years,” the doctor said.

He also said that Moraa's case shows many other situations of health workers across the country despite being some of the most sane people in the country.

“That's what happens to our young fellows, the brilliant minds of this country, because so many A students go to medical schools,” Hussein complained.

The TikToker also noted that the deceased was in medical school for 10 years for a six-year course due to delayed systems to deal with financial problems.

“After they finish because of a 10-year system delay in a six-year course, they go to work training where they save lives time and time again and the government doesn't want to pay them.

They have no means to pay for living expenses, yet they are in the hospital to save lives. This is sad and heartbreaking,” he added.
