Felix Kipyegon died on Saturday, September 14, at Tenwek Hospital, where he was admitted.

The 19-year-old boy He died shortly after joining the University no Kirinyaga after suddenly falling ill for 19 days.

He was complaining about a headache that was going on during the day of joining the college.

He was rushed to the school clinic before later being taken to hospital for further treatment, where he passed away.

Where was Felix Kipyegon buried?

He was buried in Kibisorwet village, Kiplellji (Taabet) sub-district, Chesoen ward in Bomet county.

“Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude for the great support, love, and generosity you have shown during the loss of our beloved Felix Kipyegon. Your words of comfort, prayers, and your presence have been a great source of strength for us during this difficult time.

We are very grateful to everyone who took the time to attend the funeral, send a message, or offer support. Your kindness and compassion have touched our hearts and we will never forget,” the family of the deceased Kipyegon said in a statement viewed by TUKO.co.ke.

Kipyegon's mother was filled with sad feelings

Bernard Ng'eno, Kipyegon's brother, told TUKO.co.ke that their mother, Celestine Korir, was filled with emotion when she saw her son in the coffin.

“It was a difficult time, but he will get stronger soon. It is difficult for the family because we had high expectations for him.

I don't even have the strength to understand what happened to Kipyegon. I cannot be convinced that Kipyegon left just like that. Something is not right. May he rest in peace,” he said.
