- Political activist Kebaso Morara fears that the driver who hit his car may have attended his previous meeting
- He posted a photo of the man and compared it to a photo from his meeting in Tharaka Nithi
- In both pictures, the man appears to be wearing a striped shirt and a brown hat, leaving Morara confused.
Lawyer and political activist Kebaso Morara expressed confusion about the driver who caused the accident recently.
The incident on Sunday, September 22 left Morara with questions about the driver who caused the accident because he had attended his meeting.
Morara took to social media to share his concerns, posting a photo of the driver and comparing it to a photo of his meeting.
“Is this one person? The shirt looks different, but I also know that photos taken under different lighting usually change the color. So now I'm confused,” he wrote.
His post came hours after he shared a photo of a driver who crashed into his car. Morara disclosed that the man took the opportunity during the confusion to escape from the scene.
He reiterated that accidents are common on the road, but when the person involved runs away, he starts to look like a suspect.
The businessman asked the public to help him find the driver so that they can negotiate peacefully.
Why does Morara predict that he has a short time to live?
Following the accident, Morara fled the scene in a different vehicle, citing concerns for his safety.
He later explained that he did not want to speculate about the incident but believed that he might be targeted due to his activism.
Morara said he did not want to blame anyone without evidence but he knew he had a short life.
He noted that his activism earned him hostility from the government officials he exposed and the opposition who felt he was taking their place.
He is also the target of rising warlords who feel his message could reduce their influence and contractors who were paid but disappeared.
