Nairobi – President William Ruto has mourned the death of Kiambu Ward Representative (MCA) Ezra Kabuga Kihara.
Kabuga died in a fatal accident after his car collided with a truck near Mang'u High School on the Main Road Thika Sunday, September 22.
In his condolences, the president recalled the role played by Kabuga during the primary of the party UDA in 2022.
“We are saddened by the loss of Hon. Ezra Kihara, the Nominated MCA in the County Assembly Kiambu. He was a dedicated and loyal member of the UDA. His skill in party politics was exemplary, and he played a key role as Kiambu County bounced back. official during the 2022 party primaries,” Ruto said.
Ruto said Kabuga's excellent leadership skills saw him selected as a member of the technical team of the UDA National Electoral Board.
“Due to his outstanding leadership skills, he was appointed MCA and his contribution will be greatly missed. Recently, he was selected as a member of the technical team of the UDA National Electoral Board for local elections. Rest In Peace, Ezra,” added the president.
