Gachagua expressed his ignorance about the trip Ruto to the United States despite the country being under his management when the president is away.

The Deputy President explained that Ruto had not contacted him about his latest trip.

“I have been told that he is leaving the country, but I do not know the time, so I have not been informed until this evening… I have not spoken to him today, he will speak to me in his letter. When he leaves, I haven't spoken to him today,” said Gachagua.

Why is Gachagua angry with Ruto?

The second head spoke openly about the humiliation he was subjected to in the presidency.

He involved the servants in the White House Nairobi whom he accused of standing in his way of carrying out his duties.

The deputy president criticized being disrespected by the secretaries of the Council of Ministers and other young people who have entered into a fierce battle against him.

In his appeal to the president, Gachagua reminded him of the oath he took when they entered office after the 2022 vote.

He recalled that Ruto promised not to allow contempt, as was the case during the administration of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta when the current president was humiliated.
