Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua He has spoken openly about the humiliation directed at him within the presidency.
He accused the White House officials Nairobi whom he accused of putting restrictions on him to carry out his duties.
Gachagua seemed to blame the President William Rutosaying that Ruto has taken a step back and allowed him to suffer.
In his request to the president, Gachagua reminded him of the promise he made when they came into power after the 2022 election.
He recalled that Ruto promised not to allow him to be humiliated (Gachagua), as was the case during the former president's administration Uhuru Kenyattawhere the current president was concerned.
Due to the current situation, Gachagua appeared to be worried about the problems surrounding his tenure in office, asking the president not to allow his removal from power.
“I did not know this would happen. Even if there is a mistake in this office, at least President William Ruto was allowed to work for five years. I have only worked for one year, and what is happening to me is very sad. Please, Mr. President, give me a chance to work for the remaining three years. Fulfill your promise and restore the faith of the people,” he said.
