Photos of Kasmuel McOure, a Gen Z activist who was at the forefront of opposing the government with a member of parliament, have gone viral.
Why did Kasmuel meet Silvanus Osoro?
Kasmuel, known for his unique suits and bold speech, rose to fame during the anti-government protests that took place in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
He has appeared on many local and international television programs, defending good governance.
However, his recent photos with Mugirango South Member of Parliament, Silvanus Osoro, have caused confusion.
Osoro is the chief disciplinarian of the parliament and a staunch defender of the President William Ruto; therefore, many people on the internet believed that Kasmuel had given himself to the government for personal interest.
The pictures were first sent by Mkenya who saw them secretly at United Kenya Club, claiming that Kasmuel had been given money, @kilundeezy of X and posted it online.
More pictures showed the two of them not cracking the hecko and greeting each other.
The pictures started a heated debate, with some asking for patience so that Kasmuel could explain the context of the meeting.
However, others concluded that Kasmuel was looking for money from the beginning.
