About two months ago, Gen Z took the bold step of removing politicians from church pulpits as part of a protest against bad governance.

This move caused the politicians, who usually sit in the front seats during Sunday services and talk to the worshippers, to be absent for several weeks.

However, in the last few Sundays, politicians have begun to return to the pulpits making statements that can be interpreted as an attempt to resolve political conflicts.

Church leaders also expressed their opinions, many agreeing that although politicians are welcome in the church as part of the congregation, they should refrain from politics during worship.

In the event of ending two issues with a blow, the leader of the opposition Raila Odinga he used the government's broad agreement with President William Ruto to end the succession dispute that was threatening to split his Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party.

The agreement also gave him a place in the government and gave him the support of the government for his ambition to chair the African Union Commission.

Four months ago, before the Gen Z movement over the Finance Bill and the dissolution of the Cabinet, ODM's race had heated up despite efforts to keep the aspirations of its supporters in check.

Members like Wycliffe OparanyaHassan Joho, chairman John Mbadi, and political affairs secretary Opiyo Wandayi were planning to replace Raila, which caused the party to postpone the local elections scheduled for April.

Chibutsa explained that her children used to come home for lunch in their single room, which pays rent of KSh 1,800 per month.

Her eldest daughter was usually the one who picked up her siblings from school every day on their way home.

A new report by the Comptroller of the Budget Margaret Nyakang'o has revealed that these projects, spread across the country, have not provided any value to the tax payer despite spending billions of money.

These sad results are described in the Central Government Budget Implementation Review Report for the financial year 2023-24.
