India – A woman has filed for divorce just 40 days after her wedding, complaining that her husband does not like to take a bath.

He visited a family counseling center in Agra to report that a relative bathes only once or twice a month.
When asked for his side of the story, the husband, Rajesh admitted to being “allergic” to water and accepted his complaint.
He noted that, in response to his prayers, he had taken a bath six times during their short marriage, as India Today reported.
Moreover, he said that, sometimes, he just splashes water on his body to avoid showering.
Following a conversation with the police, Rajesh agreed to improve his hygiene and commit to showering every day. Despite this, his wife has refused to continue living with him.
Her family has filed a complaint of dowry harassment at the local police station and asked for a divorce.
The newspaper The Economic Times added that the couple has been ordered to return to the counseling center on September 22 for further counseling.
