Why did YY and Marya Okoth break up?

On September 5, Marya took to social media to announce that they had broken up, leading many to believe that they were looking for a breakup.

“Hello. We regret to inform you that Marya Okoth and YY Comedian will no longer be together due to unavoidable circumstances. Thank you for your love and cooperation in our union. We expect personal privacy from each of you. Thank you,” read his statement.

This was followed by YY showing up to set things straight.

In an interview with Dr. Appearing on Lessons at 30, the comedian opened up about relationship they failed.

The father of one said that when people get into relationships, they should remember that they may not last forever.

“We're human, and breakups happen. It's not always about forever, but it's about making the most of the time we share,” he said.

Are YY and Marya Okoth looking for kicks about their breakup?

Speaking to YouTube bloggers recently, Marya denied looking for kiki, insisting that she and YY are no longer together.

“I and YY have never been known as people who chase each other and kick each other. I meant what I posted. We are not a unique couple. Every couple goes through their challenges. Even those who talk about our relationship have exes. Our breakup does not make me a bad person or make him a person bad. We are still good parents to our child,” he said.
