Where is Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital?

Ladona started complaining about abdominal pain in February 2024, and many doctors could not diagnose it. After taking him to several hospitals, the family finally landed at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in the city Eldoret.

While in the hospital, her doctors gave the girl only two weeks to live as she was diagnosed with kidney disease. While in the hospital, the condition worsened, and the doctors recommended a KSh 1.3 million kidney transplant.

Besides the money needed for the kidney transplant surgery, Ladona sand he also needed KSh 300,000 for the hospital bill.

On September 13, his sister Ladona told TUKO.co.ke that his sister had passed away while he was waiting for treatment.

“We couldn't afford dialysis for two days, and there was a lot of poison in the body, so he died. We are very heartbroken; we really tried,” the sister who cried a lot.

“Although we are mourning, we are aware that there is a bill of KSh 300,000 that we should pay. We are asking the public to help us collect that money,” he added.
