- George Ruto, the president's son, created a buzz after it was revealed that he owns three Money Fest cars
- Money Fest was accused of violating traffic laws and lacking the necessary documents to operate
- TUKO.co.ke learned that George got a new matatu, which was being driven on the road to Embakasi streets
His son is the President William RutoGeorge, has bought another three after entering this business with a bang through Money Fest.
George Ruto owns which three?
Money Fest made headlines in August after it was accused of violating traffic laws and lacking the required certificate from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).
The PSV was touted by some as a Kenya One contender, a title given to Nairobi's hottest matatu.
The matatu was claimed by some stakeholders to be the best in Kenya or Kenya One, the name given to the most beautiful matatu in the city Nairobi.
However, Money Fest faced stiff competition from Matrix, which operated on the Embakasi route.
Brian Wanyama, aka Graff Matwana, confirmed that George had bought Matrix. The purchase makes George the investor with the hottest threes on the road.
“The deal was completed last week,” Graff told TUKO.co.ke.
He also revealed that George bought a green and black matatu for KSh 8.7 million.
“Matrix changed the route from Embakasi to Ongata Rongai,” he said.
However, the move was not surprising as George's driver had previously hinted.
Speaking amid the controversy surrounding Money Fest, the driver defended George, saying that he plans to invest more in the industry.
“This car provides loan service in KCB. He has to pay. He is our brother who is trying to lift us up as young people. He has bought this car and will soon get another one,” the driver said.
The purchase sparked mixed reactions, with those on the Ongata Rongai route celebrating the move.

How much money does Money Fest bring in?
George's first PSV is very functional, translating into a good profit for George.
Racquel Wachira told TUKO.co.ke that passengers seek out Money Fest; some even call the driver to set up the seats before reaching the stage.
He revealed the amount of money that Mata earns every day.
