Adani, the Indian partner, will take over the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for 30 years, during which expansion work will be carried out.

The company would add more than KSh 230 billion in reviving the country's main airport, with the assurance of concessionary benefits paid to it by the Kenyan taxpayer.

Amenya says threats have been made in a series by unknown people following her disclosure.

He also revealed that his local company has been constantly raided by government investigators who have been seeking to bring charges to discourage him.

“I don't think I'm completely safe. I've received many threats since the day I exposed this plan… DCI tried to intimidate us by deflecting the charges,” Amenya said in an interview with KTN News.
