What advice did Edwin Sifuna give Ruto?

“I want to advise President Ruto that if he does not address the issues of the people, he will still miss 2027,” Sifuna said.

Sifuna said the agreement between Ruto and Raila it is not a political guarantee that the president will win the 2027 election.

Will appointing ODM leaders help Ruto in 2027?

According to Sifuna, bringing many political parties and politicians into government did not translate into votes.

The Secretary General of ODM gave the example of Resolution One Kenya Coalition Party, which he said has more than 26 political parties but still failed in the 2022 elections.

“I want to give the president free advice no matter how many political parties or politicians you bring to your government, 2022 Resolution gathered many political parties, if you don't deal with the issues of the people you will still go home.

“No one should lie that Kenyans are happy, unhappy and even bringing people like Wandayi, Oparanya and Mbadi into the government has not addressed the issues that have been raised by Kenyans,” ODM Secretary General said.
