How many houses will Ruto build in Kibera?

“In Kibera, Nairobi County, inspected the ongoing construction of the Kibera Soweto East Affordable Housing Project with 4,054 units. Construction of the Phase II project of 15,000 units will begin before the end of the year, while Phase III, with 20,000, will start in January next year,” the president said.

The state is also speeding up the construction of 40,000 shelter units to house families displaced from the outskirts of the city where floods caused loss of life and property damage in May this year.

The Ruto administration intends to install at least one million units by 2028.
