Nyeri: Morara Kebaso Reveals A Police Station Built Well But Not Used Since 2018

Recently, he visited Mount Kenyawhere he discovered Githiru Police Station in Nyeri Town Constituency, a station built under NG-CDF and has never been used since the 2018/2019 financial year.

Despite being well maintained and built to scale with cells, offices, and an armory, the post had no police officers or prisoners present.

“Since the 2018/2019 financial year, Githiru Police Station in Nyeri has been vacant, so we decided to occupy it,” Morara said.

Why did Morara visit Githiru Police Station?

The activist also claimed that his visit was aimed at reporting Acting Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli for failing to respect the court summons.

“Masengeli's refusal to respect the court summons is a great act of indifference. We have come to inspect the stations under his authority to report the issue,” he said.

Why is there a Githiru Police Station?

Morara also suggested that the police station could be used to detain or torture people arrested or kidnapped from other counties like Nairobi.

Together with a group of five men, Morara pretended to prepare a plan to use the facility.

“We have found an Ak47 along with 156 bullets, three fake numbers and 15 fake phones. We are investigating. These can be linked to other crimes in this area,” he acted.

Morara will seek assistance in purchasing a loudspeaker system

At the same time, in his mission to hold the President accountable William RutoMorara revealed that he had acquired a luxury car to hold rallies across the country.

He asked Kenyans to come up with ideas to brand and wrap the vehicle, making it a recognizable symbol of his meetings.

Furthermore, Morara appealed to well-wishers, asking for help in purchasing a sound system that would amplify his voice and message.
