Lang'ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang'o has divided opinion after highlighting how much top radio presenters earn.
How much is Maina Kageni's salary?
The former comedian turned politician appeared on the Iko Nini podcast when he asked the hosts to estimate how much Maina Kageni and Daniel Ndambuki aka King'ang'i earn.
Breakfast Show or the period of the two on Classic 105 FM is undoubtedly the most popular and largest in the country.
“They reached between KSh2 to KSh3 million a long time ago,” Jalang'o said.

Then the host said that the most he would pay Maina was KSh 2 million.
“When Maina is on air, there are commercials every time. Everything is financed. He makes the station KSh 10 million a day. Why don't you give him KSh 3 million because if he leaves, the money will not be the same. Good,” he said.
Jalango He further revealed that Gidi Gidi and Ghost Mulee are also earning good money.
“Have you seen the house that Gidi has built in the countryside? Do you know that he lives in Karen? It is expensive,” he said.
Jalang'o noted that the top advertisers earned so much money because of their hard work and consistency.
