What caused the Ngata accident that killed 2?
Survivors of the accident described the incident claiming that the driver was speeding.
“The driver started increasing the speed after we left the Sobea area, one passenger was getting off, and when he returned to the road, the speed caused an accident,” said Lewis Mbasu.
“We were standing in Nakuru for about an hour after the Nairobi Marathon. A few kilometers later, we had an accident suddenly. I don't even know how it happened,” added Lewis Kipkemboi.
Medical expert Boniface Tirop reported that some of the injured have been treated and allowed to go home while the remaining patients are expected to be released soon.
At the same time, the increase in the number of accidents across the country has raised serious concerns about the state of the roads and led to calls for increased caution when traveling.
