Fridah Moraa was heartbroken when she recounted the negative effects of the heavy rains on her personal life and that of her children.

Where was Moraa when he received the call?

He said with pain that the floods caused by heavy rain entered his house and destroyed his property.

“I was at my usual work, my children called me and told me that it had rained so much that water entered the house, I thought they were joking but they denied it was true, I got on a motorcycle and ran home where I found the situation was really bad. I arrived at eight in the afternoon.

I was crying especially for the birth certificates. I am a mother without a husband to help me, I feed my children only by myself. The school fee is just me,” he cried.

How many children does Moraa have?

The mother of five children from Nakuru West he said when he looked at his daughter's books, because they were wet.

The mattress was soaked, and the bed was in a different place, which added to his stress.

“We don't have peace. We have nowhere to go. We didn't save anything. We just watched everything collapse without hope. We slept next door,” he added.

Moraa asked the government to help them find a good place to stay after the floods.
