Lodge said his friend who met him during his visit to the country Kenya he introduced him to a woman named 'Anita,' whom he loved very much.

According to a BBC report, Lodge fell in love with 'Anita' despite never meeting her in person.

He emphasized his commitment to his online lover until he was ready to move to Nairobi and formalize the relationship through marriage.

However, the situation changed a lot when 'Anita' started asking for dowry and financial support to complete the construction of her house before getting married.

“Therefore, I started sending him some money and he used to send me pictures of the house being decorated, along with other pictures,” Lodge said.

Lodge continued to provide support until he flew to Nairobi and realized that the woman he loved so much was no longer there.

He also realized that the person pretending to be 'Anita' was his close friend, whom he met in Kenya three years ago.

“The agreement was that we would meet well in Nairobi, but that did not happen and it turned out to be a fraud and Anita was never there,” Lodge added.

Lodge returned to his home in England but is now on the verge of losing hope, as he currently has nowhere to stay.

“I'm really suffering because I've come up with nothing. I've spent every penny I've got and so I really hope that wicked woman rots in hell – I'm sorry to say that, but that's how I feel in my heart.”
