Narok- A DJ by the name of Arnold Kamau narrated how a police officer allegedly invaded his house and assaulted him, reportedly due to a suspected love dispute.
What did Kamau say about the police officer?
The DJ said that the police officer forced his way into his house on Sunday, September 1, and dragged him out.
According to Citizen Digital's report, the officer started kicking and hitting the DJ, blaming him for getting involved with his girlfriend.
“He beat me with a stick until it broke into pieces. He also had a knife, but the noise of the neighbors prevented him from stabbing me,” Kamau said.
As a result of the attack, Kamau suffered a swollen face and a broken arm. Following the initial attack, the officer reportedly took Kamau to a bar and continued to beat him.
Kamau is currently seeking justice. He denies being involved with the officer's lover and insists that he is a friendly man.
A police officer shoots a man suspected of having a love triangle
This is not the first time a police officer has been involved in an attack related to suspected love triangles. Previously, a police officer in the city Poisonous was being investigated after a shooting incident in the lakeside city.
The officer is alleged to have used his weapon against an unarmed citizen in anger in a liquor store.
The officer, serving at the Centre University of the Kisumu Police, was accused of shooting the man three times in what is reported to be a love triangle.
Identified as Kevin Ouma, the victim was rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOORTH) for further treatment.
The incident was reported at the Kondele police station for further action.
