- They expressed their concern that the couple already have 10 children and may add more
Residents of a small village in the County Trans Nzoia have gathered to ask a local couple with 10 children to stop having children.
Neighbors have expressed concern about the family's well-being and local resource problems.
In a video shared by Lillian Siyoi Walubengo, the villagers were seen addressing the worried couple.
Residents of the area urged couples to consider family planning as raising many children is a burden.
They reiterated that they care about this family and are worried about the future of the children.
Kenyans on social media, however, condemned the action of the villagers, adding that the approach was wrong as children are a blessing from God.
