Trans Nzoia – A family in Kwanza Constituency is in mourning after their 18-year-old daughter was found dead.

Eunice Akinyi's body was discovered in a maize field a few days after she went missing while she was going to collect her school leaving certificate from Kesse Secondary School.

His parents, Beatrice Barasa and Robert Masika, revealed that he was preparing to join the university of Grow up to study beauty.

Barasa said that Akinyi was attacked, strangled, and killed by unknown assailants.

“A group of children rushed in with fear, saying that a woman had been killed in the field, she was found completely naked, with her hands and feet tied and wounds on her neck. My daughter died a very painful death, and I didn't even know what happened to her when she left home.” complained the grieving mother.

The grieving parents had high hopes for their daughter, believing she would change the future of their family. S

asa are seeking justice following the brutal murder of their loved one.

“Our daughter had not offended anyone, and we remain questioning what motive caused her brutal murder. I ask the government to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions,” Barasa prayed.

The officer in charge of the area Alex Wakabete noted that DCI has conducted an investigation to identify and bring the perpetrators before the law.
