A Kenyan has given a close view of the horrific scene that led to many people losing their lives on the Nithi Bridge.
In a video shared by Kingsley-Kenya on TikTok several road signs were shown warning drivers to be careful when approaching a bridge in the county of Tharaka Nithi.
“Drivers, especially young ones, please when you arrive in Nithi, you should be very careful when you go down the road here,” Kingsley said.
“It takes drivers about three hours to climb the mountain; you can't come around here and say you never saw the warnings,” he warned.

The Rongai family mourns the woman who perished
In another story, Lucy Kiende, a neighbor of the late Njeri at Soko la Kware in Rongai, he wailed in pain after learning that he was among those who died in the Nithi Bridge accident.
According to Lucy, Njeri was happy as they prepared to leave their home for the parent blessing group event in Nkubu in Meru.
Njeri left behind a husband and young children, and Lucy appealed to the government to help her relax and also educate her children.
