- The rocks of English Manchester United were well received by their rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford
- Red Devils fans leveled two players after a heavy defeat by Arne Slot's side on Sunday afternoon
- United have managed just one win and two losses in their three Premier League games, scoring two goals and conceding four
Manchester United fans have taken to social media to target two players following Sunday's 3-0 defeat by Liverpool.
The Red Devils looked to bounce back from last week's last-minute loss to Brighton but suffered a heavy defeat in Arne Slot's first game at Old Trafford.
Luis Diaz scored twice in the first half, both helped by a superb pass from Mo Salah, who added to his usual goal against United in the second half, per Eurosport.
The game did not sit well with some United fans, who have already run out of patience just two games into this season.
Midfielder Casemiro was particularly culpable for the first two goals, releasing the ball in key areas and facing the consequences.
After a poor result that drew heavy criticism, he was taken off at half-time to replace 20-year-old Toby Collyer.
United fans blame Casemiro and Rashford
While the Brazilian faced strong opposition, fans were equally confused by Marcus Rashford, who once again failed to do anything and seems to be a shadow of the player who scored 30 goals in Erik ten Hag's first season.

“Is the Saudi transfer window closed? I ask a friend… His friend is Casemiro.”
@LeroyMo00397033 said:
“Casemiro should retire immediately before he ruins his legacy.”
@SamHartles91 commented:
“I hope it's your last match. You should be ashamed of the way you played today.”
@mystercliche added:
“I think from today onwards we can all agree that Casemiro is a team player.”
@coachee403 said:
“I'd really like to know why Rashford can't be benched. He's been poor for 18 months and you're still trying to play him to get better.”
@jacktalksunited posted:
“Casemiro needs to go as soon as possible. Rashford should have been let go and sold a year ago. Ten Hag needs to be fired if we are not going to beat Southampton.”
@LewisMUFC4LIFE commented:
“Rashford and Casemiro, leave my football club in January.”
