A newly bought Audi has crashed following a head-on collision with a Mercedes-Benz on the Narok-Bomet highway.
How did the Narok-Bomet highway accident happen?
According to a police report obtained by TUKO.co.ke, the Audi driver was with another man as they were heading Bomet.
When the Audi driver approached the scene of the accident, he tried to overtake another car and collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz.
The force of the accident caused both vehicles to be thrown five meters into the ditch on the right side of the road.
The driver of the Audi suffered soft tissue injuries while his passenger suffered an injury to his right arm. The driver of the Mercedes-Benz also suffered soft tissue injuries.
All the people were transported to Longisa County Referral Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and have been towed to the Ololulunga police station yard for inspection and impoundment.
2 die after a Range Rover collides with a canter
This incident follows a fatal accident involving a Range Rover and a canter on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
The police report showed that two people died on the spot, and three others were injured after the Range Rover collided with an FRR Isuzu canter in Maji Ya Chumvi.
According to the police, the car was driven by Jamal Mubarak, aged 37, who died along with a female passenger, aged 29.
When the accident happened, the brand new Range Rover was being handed over to its new owner in the city Nairobi.
The driver was trying to overtake another car that was speeding when he collided face to face with an Isuzu canter car and caused the luxury car to be fired.
