Kebaso, on the evening of Wednesday, August 28, was a guest on the JKL program to explain the reason for his new approach to hold the government accountable for projects that have stalled across the country.

The Kenyan gained influence from the locals recently after he volunteered to tour the country on his own initiative to highlight projects that the President William Ruto launched but did not start after the announcement.

During the interview, Kebaso revealed that the government and its prominent officials reached out to him, and offered him a good job in the government, perhaps to silence him in his civic activities.

At one point, Morara claimed that the president never called him alone.

“I was called by people who were close to the president, finally, I was called by the president. I spoke to him very respectfully because he is our president. He has been given that authority by the people. Whatever was given to me, I spoke to him with great respect. I refused, I was given a government position, but I refused to be a talented and fair person, I believe that if I enter the government, I will go there to become corrupt if some people give it to me, I will be upset if I work there; demanded Morara.

His statement caught the attention of the palace spokesman, who immediately called to dispute the claim.

While supporting Kebaso's civil action, and its importance regarding democracy, Hussein criticized the activist for what he said was a lie.

According to him, the president never called Kebaso, so he pressed him to confirm that he had a phone conversation with the president.
