Time has passed now, and Passy is nowhere to be seen, which has led to thousands of people on online forums pleading with him to come back, address the issue, and return the money he took from them.

The money is claimed to be approximately KSh 350 million, and this amount has created a buzz on the internet, many saying that this is not a new thing while others strongly defended the businessman.

Part of the people who were allegedly defrauded gathered in the city to discuss what to do.

“I know a mother who miscarried after getting this news,” said a man from the downtown area of Nairobi.

“I am a student, so these funds were supposed to be used to pay for the next semester,” complained another member of the group.

“Hello, I would like to thank you for being part of this money lending business and growing. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, we are sorry to inform you that we are suspending the business, with the promise to pay the principal. A small amount of apologies and many thanks,” wrote Passy.

He also took to his Facebook forum and wrote:

“News from this side, they want to kill me with preshaWhatsApp, but I have refused, the donkey is tired.”

The group member also claimed that the founder of Pafrim Investment Limited bought a chair for KSh 400,000 and a bed, which cost KSh 500,000, and this made him realize what kind of person he was dealing with.

The case is with the police, who have continued with the investigation. Some members have also chosen to hire lawyers to handle the matter.
