Residents of the Kericho-Kisumu highway are living in fear after snakes started invading their homes.
Where is Corner C in Kericho?
In a video shared online by @lucolive, snakes were seen crawling in the distance. At one point, the snakes were in a tree near the road basking in the sun, which caused quite a stir as people stopped to watch.
“I have personally seen three or four snakes and even went further down a small hill and saw a hole where he is hiding. It is not an ordinary snake,” said a resident of Corner C there Kericho.
“These snakes are very dangerous for children and women who go to fetch water, we live in great danger especially in the evenings because we keep wondering if the snakes have passed or not,” said another resident.
Corner C residents now want the Wildlife Service to Kenya to come and get the snakes.
