During an interview on TV 47 on Friday, August 23, the young member of parliament said he had the experience of taking the post of Raila.

Babu said this will be held at the event where Raila takes executive responsibilities at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa.

He explained that when Raila leaves the country as the chairman of the African Union Commission (AUC), he will assume his role of controlling the government.

“If it happens that Baba goes to AUC, then the Bible says there is a time and season for everything. If it happens that Baba goes to AU to be the chairman of AUC; when Baba goes to Addis Ababa to Baba, then if he goes on that day, there is no harm in leaving Baba to be the leader and become the main leader of the opposition,” he said.

He claimed that he has already announced that he will be the main opposition leader as a preparation, saying that experience does not come with age.

'It comes with the challenges you've gone through. Grandfather Owino He has lived his 35 years and faced many challenges and found solutions to those challenges,” Grandfather explained.

In other news, the former prime minister announced his retirement from grassroots politics as he prepares for his AUC chairmanship campaign.

Raila said that he will focus fully on his quest for the position of AUC chairman.
