According to the chairman of Zabron Singers, the lead singer died on the night of August 21 in Dar es Salaam hospital.
In a Facebook post, Obeid Kazimili, the chairman, said the group will release more information about Marco's funeral soon.
“As the chairman of Zabron Singers, I regret to announce the death of our singer Marco Joseph Bukulu who was also the vice chairman. He died in the city of Dar es Salaam in a hospital known as Jakaya,” he said.
News that reached TUKO.co.ke indicated that Marco was being treated for heart disease when he died last night.
While Zabron singers are popular among Kenyans for some of their sweet songs, Kenyans have come out on social media to mourn the death of the brave musician.
