Veteran announcer of Radio Maisha Ann Njogu is making headlines after threatening a fan live on air for allegedly disrespecting the station.
In a video that is going viral, a fan the one identified as D Darius Kipkosgei from Kapsabet, called the Njogu show, and faced unexpected reactions from the host.
How did Ann Njogu handle the fan?
Njogu, being stunned to hear his voice, surprised the family by calling despite the rude behavior he had shown before.
“You're still calling dad, you're still there!, stop insulting people, okay? Otherwise, we'll let the company deal with you like a fan. Don't go through that my brother,” Njogu said before hanging up suddenly.
Although the radio host did not reveal the exact reason for his comments, online rumors suggest that Kipkosgei had previously posted disparaging messages on social media targeting the station.
The incident has created a buzz online, with many wondering about the history of the confrontation.

While saying goodbye to his colleagues, he also acknowledged how his long-time employer helped him build his career in radio.
Mwende used to work with Radio Maisha, part of the Standard Media Group umbrella which recently announced that it had laid off 300 people due to commercial reasons.
However, he teased that he was excited about his next job opportunity and promised to keep his fans informed.
