Collins Jumaisi: Quail Murder Suspect, 12 Eritreans Escape Cell Gigiri Police Station

Nairobi – The main suspect in the Kware street murder, Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, has escaped from the hands of the police.

The suspect of indiscriminate killing escaped from the Gigiri Police station along with 12 other suspects in the police station.

According to the police, 12 Eritreans who were in Jumaisi's cell were detained in the center for illegal immigration.

In the case of Tuesday, August 20, the senior officer, Constable Gerald Mutuku, was visiting the cell with the canteen supervisor to give the suspects breakfast.

Mutuku opened the cell door and discovered that 13 suspects had escaped by cutting the wire in the basking bay and adding a perimeter wall.

Senior police officers, including the Sub-County Police Commander and the Sub-County Criminal Investigation Officer (SCCIO), visited the scene.
