Kenya how many gold medals did it get?

Kenya bagged four gold medals from the France 2024 Olympic Games, which ended on Sunday, August 11.

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Faith Chepyegon won the gold medal in the women's 1500m final.

Beatrice Chebet grabbed two more gold medals in the 5000 and 10000 meters for women.

Emanuel Wanyonyi brought home a fourth gold in the men's 800m.

“When we honor these champions, we better do it here in Eldored, the newest city in the country Kenya today. There could be no better celebration of the city of Eldoret than to do so with these Olympic champions.

“Your victory is not only a medal but a symbol of national character and a testimony of what we can achieve when we believe in ourselves. Congratulations to all of you,” Ruto said when he presided over the event at Eldoret State Lodge.
