Chelsea star Cole Palmer returned to work immediately after England's Euro 2024. The Three Lions came close to securing their first honor since 1966 on Sunday but were beaten 2-1 by Spain in the final.
Palmer, 22, scored the equalizing goal for the national team in the 73rd minute and canceled out Nico Williams' first goal but Furia Roja grabbed the win with a last minute goal from Mikel Oyarzabal.
The England stars were left dejected after another Euro disaster after losing to Italy on penalties in the final at Wembley in 2021.
However, Palmer returned to work just 48 hours later while hitting the gym hard.
The player shared a story on Instagram showing him lifting weights.
The Chelsea star worked on his triceps and biceps in his efforts to prepare for the new season.
Palmer also released the following statement along with the clip: “Get right back to it.”
England fans insisted that the former Manchester City star should have been part of Gareth Southgate's squad throughout the tournament.
The forward played five of the seven Euro 2024 matches and never started.
This comes after a successful season with Chelsea in his first campaign at Stamford Bridge.
Palmer scored a total of 25 goals and 15 assists in 45 games.
And now he counts two goals in nine matches he played in England after the Euros.
