Harambee stars has been drawn in group J of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers following the draw that was conducted Thursday in Johannesburg South Africa.
Kenya will battle it out with 5 times AFCON winners the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, Nambia and Zimbabwe in the qualifiers that are scheduled to begin in September this year.
The 2025 AFCON Finals are slated for Morocco from 21st December, 2025 to 18th January, 2026.Kenya will face 5 time winner Cameroon,Namibia and Zimbabwe in group J of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations whose qualifiers begin in September.
Kenya will be hoping to qualify for their first AFCON finals since 2019 in Egypt. Defending champions Ivory Coast are pooled in group G alongside Zambia, Siera Leone and Chad.
Host Morocco will play Gabon,Central Africa Republic and Lesotho in Group B .
48 teams were divided into 12 Groups of 4 teams,group A to L, where the first and runners-up in the eleven 11 groups that do not involve tournament hosts Morocco, will gain qualification to the competition.
The qualification matches are scheduled to begin in September, October, November where at the conclusion of the group stage matches 24 teams will qualify for the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled December 21st 2025- January 18th 2026 in Morocco.
